# Monthly review worksheet

Half an hour, once a month. Metrics are calculated over trailing windows, so by
the time a dashboard shows a problem the events causing it are weeks old and
already locked in. Checking monthly is early warning. Checking when you get a
warning email is too late to prevent it.

Month: ____________

---

## 1. Account standing (per channel)

Read the actual rates, not the summary badge.

| Channel | Defect / transaction problems | Cases closed without seller resolution | Late dispatch | Direction since last month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| | | | | |
| | | | | |

**The signal is direction, not level.** A rate that has doubled while still under
the threshold is the warning. The breach is just the consequence.

## 2. Every problem order this month

One line each. Cause only — not narrative.

| Order | What went wrong | Root cause (process, not incident) |
|---|---|---|
| | | |
| | | |

Patterns become obvious after two months and are invisible in single incidents.

**Repeated cause this month:** ______________________
**Process change I am making:** ______________________

## 3. Ageing

- Units listed more than 90 days: ______
- Units listed more than 180 days: ______
- Capital parked in them (sum of allocated cost): $______

For anything over your threshold, diagnose before discounting:

- No impressions → category or specifics problem
- Impressions, no clicks → thumbnail and title problem
- Clicks, no sale → photos, description, postage, or trust — then price

## 4. Cash

- Money out on stock this month: $______
- Money in from payouts: $______
- Lowest balance point and its date: $______ on ______
- Projected lowest point next month: $______ on ______

## 5. One decision

Based on the above, the single change for next month is:

____________________________________________________

Not a list. One.
